Roshan Pakistan Roshan Ghrana is a new scheme which is introduced in year 2024 by Government of Punjab. The free solar panel scheme is introduced by CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif. The scheme is for families who cannot pay their electricity bills. After BISP 8171 or ehsaas program schemes this scheme can also be considered as valuable for poor people of Pakistan.
The free solar panel scheme is starting from 1st July 2024. Under this scheme 2 solar panels, 1 battery and 1 inverter will be given to selected person. In first phase people who consumed less than 100 electricity units will be eligible. However, for Roshan Pakistan Roshan Ghrana scheme, the Govt employees will not be eligible in first phase. In first phase of free solar panel shceme around 50,000 people will be eligible. The panels will be distributed through the DC of the district.

Eligibility Criteria For Free Solar Panel Scheme 2024
There are certain conditions for Roshan Pakistan Roshan Ghrana shceme. For example non-Govt employees who consumed less than 100 units will be selected. Only 50 thousand people will be selected in first phase.

In order to apply for free electricity panels. You will follow the following procedure.
- Collect all your documents like electricity bills, CNIC, application form
- Submit application to DC office

The application will be processed through DC office. You will be notified through that office via phone calls if your application is selected after process.
